What Did You Learn?

My name is Jessica Tauber, thanks for reading my blog. Now, a little about me:

I spend my days working at a small literary agency (and before that at a small publishing house) and in my spare time I write a lot. I also do some freelance work, mostly reading other people’s manuscripts and writing overviews highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of their novels and advising them on how to improve the work.

At the moment I’m working on a Middle Grade fantasy series. I’m also an avid reader (see my What to Read blog to see what I’ve been reading and what I think about those books).

I attended Brandeis University where I majored in English and minored in Creative Writing–those writing classes were the best classes I’ve ever taken. As someone who is always looking for new ideas and thoughts to improve my writing, I thought I would share the things I have learned thus far.

Hope you enjoy and let me know your thoughts!
